Opening Day Tomorrow – Renew Now to Avoid Lines + Weekend Events
Tomorrow is Opening Day 2013 and we look forward to seeing you at the pool! Here are a few things you need to know about the weekend:
Please Renew Your Membership Before You Come to the Pool!
Just a reminder that if you plan to be a member at Seven Locks this summer, you should have renewed your membership and paid your dues by now. We’ll be using a new member check-in system at our front desk, and to avoid delays at the door, we ask you to pay before you come to the pool this weekend. To renew your membership and pay your dues with a credit card, go to our website, www.sevenlocks.org, sign in to your account, update your account and member info, and pay your dues (a small credit card fee will be applied). If you intend to pay by check, bring your check to the pool when you come. Please be aware that you may encounter a delay to log in your payment at the pool.
We plan to upload photos of our members into our membership check-in system, so be ready to “say cheese” at the front desk!!
Memorial Day Tennis Social & BBQ – Monday, May 27
Tennis Social (1-3pm) – We are having a tennis social on Monday, Memorial Day, between 1-3 pm. All fellow tennis enthusiasts are welcome. There will be doubles and singles and we would love to see you on the courts. Snacks and drinks will be provided of course. It looks to be a beautiful day on Monday and we hope you can make it.
Club-wide BBQ (3-5pm) – All members welcome! Vince & Dominics will staff the grills and provide main dishes, sides and drinks for the Memorial Day BBQ on Monday. Bring a dessert to share, and hang out with friends old and new!
Swim & Dive Team
Practices for Swim & Dive Team start Tuesday, May 28. Be sure to register your swimmers and divers on our Swim & Dive Team website, www.sevenlockssharks.com. We welcome kids ages 5-18 of all ability levels to Swim & Dive Team. For kids who can’t yet swim a length of the pool, we offer Sharks Reef PreTeam program on weekday mornings. Sharks Club – sign up now!
Seven Locks’ day camp starts on June 17! Open from 9am-5pm, kids ages 6-12 enjoy tennis lessons, swim lessons, art projects, and just hanging out at the pool, all for the bargain price of $300/week. You can sign up for all 5 weeks, or just one. Check out Sharks Club.
New Tennis Teams!
Seven Locks was invited to play in an advanced Mens League, and we are happy to report that this week we won our first match. We would also love to get a Ladies Team going to play clubs around the area. If interested in joining either the Mens or Ladies League, please e-mail our pro, Emre Baris at emrebaris17@yahoo.com.
