Thu., July 10: Fun Lollipop “Meet”, S’mores + More

On Thursday, July 10, we have a fun evening planned for all Seven Locks Families!

5:00-6:00pm: Annual Lollipop Meet.  This “meet” is run by the Swim Team and is a FUN non-competitive meet for member children of Seven Locks Swim & Tennis Club ages 10 and under.  We have kickboard and noodle “races” for the little ones who can’t swim independently. Older teens are also in the lanes to assist swimmers, if needed. There will be sign-up sheets on the club bulletin board but even if you can’t make it to the pool to sign up, plan to come and join the fun. A maximum of 2 events/child.  Each child gets a lollipop after their event.  Especially for those children thinking of doing the pre-team or swim team next year, they will get a great sense of the team’s spirit through everyone’s favorite fun meet of the summer. Plan to come join the fun!!!

6:00-6:40pm: Our 2nd Annual Parent/Family relays. Each family is allowed to “compete” in one of 3 relays.  A sign-up sheet will be posted on the club bulletin board.

6:45-7:30pm: Dinner Break – Enjoy dinner at our snack bar or bring your own.

7:30-8:15pm: Second Annual Swim & Dive Team Talent Show (kids, coaches & parents!)  A sign-up sheet will be on the team bulletin board.  Each person is limited to one talent slot.  Non-Swim & Dive Team members are encouraged to stay & watch!

8:15 – 9:00pm: Stay for S’mores after the Show

NOTE: The Swim Club remains open but the Main Pool is closed from 4:30 – 6:45pm.
(Learn to Swim Intermediate Clinic takes place as scheduled, 6:45-7:30 pm.  Dive practice continues until 5:45pm)
