Seven Locks Tennis Update

Dear Seven Locks Members,

Plans are moving forward on a proposal for improving the tennis courts at Seven Locks Swim & Tennis Club.  We are developing a plan to rebuild our three 35-year old tennis courts over the next 12-18 months and subsequently to bubble them in winter for indoor play.  The courts are nestled into our wooded landscape and we anticipate not removing any trees for this project.  The plan is that the bubble would be operational from mid-October to mid-April beginning in late fall 2015 and would emit less noise than outdoor play.  Finding indoor court time in our area can be a real challenge and we are pleased to offer members this opportunity for court time, clinics and instruction.

We will be doing neighborhood outreach on the project over the next several weeks.  More detailed plans for this project are on the agenda for the Seven Locks Fall General Meeting, which will be held on Tuesday evening, Oct. 28.  An invitation to the General Meeting will be sent shortly.  We look forward to getting your input on the project at that time.

Best regards,
Colette Thibodeau
